SRINAGAR: Arrest spree sparked protest in Old city on Wednesday while police said that all the persons involved in stone pelting would be arrested in coming days.
According to reports, scores of people staged a protest at Nowpora Khanyar area of Srinagar city demanding immediate release of the arrested youth.

Reports said that police arrested three persons during nocturnal raid who have been identified as Feroz Ahmed, Abdul Majid and Muhammad Maqbool.
A top police official on condition of anonymity said that the arrested persons are stone-pelters and drive against miscreants would continue. He said that these persons have been identified through videography and have been booked on charges of stone pelting.
