SRINAGAR: Delhi Police Wednesday said that it has solved the mystery of a missing Kashmiri boy who had disappeared 4 months back.
A Police official said that 15 year old Roman Amin Ganai of Jandwaal in Pulwama who had gone missing from Mahindra Park area in Azadpur New Delhi on November 20 last year was located by Delhi police from Manzgaon area of Maharashtra.
After receiving inputs we raided a deserted dilapidated hut in Manzgaon area. The boy is stable and his father and relatives are with him, Delhi police official said adding that investigation is going on in this regard and so far no one has been arrested.
I am happy to find my son, said ecstatic Muhammad Amin Ganaie.
Roman told us that he was given anaesthesia by some unidentified persons while going to washroom in Delhis Azadpur Mandi. He told us that the Rs 300 which he was possessing was snatched by abductors. My son told us that the abductors travelled a long distance and during this time, he was repeatedly been given anaesthesia, the father of missing boy said adding that it seems that his son was abducted by an agency which force children into beggary.
I thank the people of Kashmir, especially the Kashmir press for highlighting the issue of my missing son from time to time, Ganaie said adding that after completing all the formalities, they will reach home in coming three days.
Pertinently when 15 year old Roman went missing on November 20 from Mahindra Park area in Azadpur he was accompanying his fruit merchant father.
