SRINAGAR: Enforcement Directorate Srinagar Tuesday said it has attached the property worth Rs one lakh that belonged to the mother of one of the separatist leaders.
ED officials said that its Joint Director was investigating a case against Yar Muhammad Khan and Firdous Ahmed Shah and others who were involved in money laundering.
After investigation, two storied house along with land underneath and appurtenant there to measuring 3574 sqft in the name of one Nabla Begum, mother of Firdous Ahmed Shah situated at Srinagars Abiguzar, near Masjid Sharief, was attached, ED official said.
Meanwhile, Advocate Muhammad Shafi Reshi who is also the General Secretary of Democratic Political Movement said that the case was contested by him and an ED court of Delhi termed the charges as baseless and ordered the release of the said property.
