Srinagar- Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday reported nine more Covid-19 related deaths taking the total number of fatalities due to the disease to 1589 while as 460 new cases were reported during the same time, officials said.
Of the nine deaths reported in J&K , five from Kashmir valley and four were from Jammu division, they said.
Meanwhile, 460 new cases were reported today taking the infection tally to 1,02,619, the officials said.
Of the fresh cases, 271 from the Kashmir Valley and 189 were from Jammu division, they said.
Srinagar district recorded the highest 120 cases, followed by 94 in Jammu.
There are 5,688 active cases in the Union Territory, while 95,342 patients have recovered so far, the officials said.
