Srinagar: Three youth from south Kashmir’s Pulwama district have been booked under the contentious Public Safety Act (PSA) for their alleged involvement in militancy.
Aiash Ahmed Dar, Mushtaq Ahmed Lone and Asif Ali, all residents of Nillora village of the district were arrested by police and slapped with PSA for recruiting and harbouring militants, news agency KNT reported Thursday. The trio, report said have been shifted to the jail outside Kashmir.
Though family members of the youth vouch for their innocence, police claimed they were involved in militancy.
The report quoted SSP Pulwama Ashish Mishra as saying that all the three were booked for their involvement in militancy recruitment case.
