Jammu – A truck driver was arrested along with charas from the Kunjwani area on the city outskirts here, police said.
“Based on tip-off, police laid a nakka at Kunjwani chowk and intercepted a truck,” a police spokesman said.
He added that during searches of the vehicle, 2.8 kg charas hidden under the seat was seized and the driver identified as Mohammad Yousaf, a resident of Pulwama in Kashmir, was arrested.
A case under the NDPS Act was registered and investigations were under progress, he said.
