Srinagar- Jammu and Kashmir recorded nine more Covid-19 deaths in a day pushing the tally to 1,322 on Sunday, while 569 fresh cases during the same period took the tally to 8,3363, officials said.
Among the victims, the officials said, five were residents of Jammu and four from Kashmir Valley.
With these deaths, 1323 people have succumbed to the virus in J&K and include 893 from Kashmir and 429 from Jammu division, the officials said.
Meanwhile, 569 fresh cases of COVID-19 were recorded in J&K in the past 24 hours – with 362 in the Kashmir valley and 207 in Jammu, they said.
Srinagar district reported the highest number of 147 new cases, followed by 108 in Jammu, the officials said.
There are 10,466 active cases of the coronavirus disease, while 71,845 patients have recovered so far, they said.
