Srinagar: Nursing staff of the SK institute of medical sciences Soura here on Monday staged protest against administration for ‘forcing’ them to follow newly introduced three-tier shift system.
Scores of nurses assembled at Press Enclave Srinagar and staged protest against the administration accusing them of preparing duty roaster against their will and without their consent, eyewitnesses said.
The protesting nursing staff said that they don’t agree with the new roaster as it will affect them badly. They said they are already overburdened in this pandemic and now to force them to perform duties at a stretch is sheer injustice towards them.
The protesters said that they will hit to roads on daily basis in case roaster system is not changed. (KNT)
