SRINAGAR: All Parties Hurriyat Conference Wednesday started a signature campaign pressing for the return of mortal remains of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front founder Muhammad Maqbool Bhat and Muhammad Afzal Guroo.
The signature campaign was started from Press Enclave Srinagar where scores of people signed in favour of the said campaign.
Talking to reporters, senior separatist leader Javid Ahmed Mir said that Kashmri people will never forget the sacrifices of both Bhat and Guroo. Both the martyrs devoted their lives for the Kashmir cause instead of surrendering before oppressor and it is our responsibility to take their mission to logical conclusion, Mir said.
Besides, Mir other Hurriyat leaders present on the occasion included Hakeem Abdul Rashid, Abdul Rashid Untoo, Syed Bashir Indrabi, Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi and others.
