
Srinagar- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has called upon citizens to actively report bribery and corrupt practices by government officials, urging increased public participation in combating corruption.
In a letter to the Joint Director of the Department of Information & Public Relations (DIPR), the CBI’s Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) Srinagar requested a three-day awareness campaign in leading Urdu and English newspapers.
The message emphasized the importance of public vigilance, encouraging individuals to report any corruption-related complaints to the SSP, Anti-Corruption Branch, CBI Srinagar, via phone (0194-2455514 / 9419900977) or email (hobacsgr@cbi.gov.in).
“Do not pay bribes. If any government official demands a bribe or if you have any information regarding corruption, please report it. Say no to corruption and help eradicate this menace,” the CBI’s public notice stated.
The initiative aims to raise awareness and promote transparency and accountability in government offices.
