
Jammu- Presenting the Jammu and Kashmir Budget 2025, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah announced major investments in healthcare and education.
Omar Abdullah said that ₹86 crore has been allocated for the construction of a 250-bed Maternity and Child Care Hospital in Anantnag.
He also announced that ₹50 crore has been proposed for the establishment of a National Law University (NLU) in J&K.
Additionally, 98 water testing labs will be set up across Jammu and Kashmir this year to improve water quality monitoring and public health.
