Srinagar- Dense fog and poor visibility led to suspension of flight operations at Srinagar Airport on Sunday, officials said.
All scheduled flights for the day were canceled as low visibility made it impossible for aircrafts to land or take off, they said.
Earlier, ten flights were cancelled at the Srinagar International Airport on Sunday morning due to poor visibility caused by fog, officials said.
“Early morning visibility at the Srinagar airport was 50 metres, which has affected the air traffic. All airlines pushed their flights after 10 am,” an Airports Authority of India official had said.
