Srinagar- At least four people were killed while as thirteen others were injured in road accident at Dangduru Dam site in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday evening.
Officials said that vehicle bearing registration number JK-17 6576 carrying passengers lost its control and fell into deep gorge.
In this incident four people were killed while as thirteen others were injured. All of them were immediately shifted to nearby hospital, where condition of two persons is being stated to be critical, reported news agency GNS.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered in this regard and investigation have been taken up in this regard.
Union Minister Jitendra Singh said in a post on X, “Just now spoke to DC #Kishtwar, Sh Rajesh Kumar Shavan after receiving the news of an unfortunate accident of cruiser in Dandaru area. Two casualties reported. More updates awaited. Meanwhile, rescue operation has started. My office is in constant touch. All required help will be provided.”
