Srinagar- A mason lost his life and two laborers were injured after the roof of an under-construction House collapsed at Shamswari, Kalashpora area of the old city on Monday.
The sudden collapse of support-structure of an under construction house at Shamswari, caused total chaos and confusion in the entire locality.
Identified as Mohammad Ismail Shuloo (58), son of Ghulam Rasool Shuloo, a mason died in the sudden building collapse while two laborers suffered injuries in the incident.
Witnesses claimed that as workers were working on construction, the structure’s support suddenly failed, causing the building to collapse.
The victims were immediately removed to the hospital, where two are being treated and one was pronounced dead upon arrival. The deceased mason is survived by two sons and wife.
Meanwhile, the police have taken cognizance of the incident and set the investigation into motion.
