SRINAGAR– The J&K Football Association has announced that the final match of the first edition JKFA Spring Legacy Knockout Football Tournament will be played on Friday, July 12.
The tournament witnessed some thrilling matchups with the leading departmental football team of J&K, JK Bank FC, ousted in the semifinals by Syed Tajjudin FC Natipora. The underdog STFC ran 2-1 winners to stake their claim in the final.
STFC will take on Srinagar Premier League champions Downtown Heroes FC in the final, which will be held at Polo Ground with kick off set for 5:00 PM.
The Heroes overcame Iqbal Sports Club 2-0 in their semifinal matchup.
The tournament is being organised by JKFA in collaboration with J&K Sports Council.
