Srinagar- A video of an E-Rickshaw driver performing stunts on the 90 Feet Road in the Ahmed Nagar locality in Srinagar outskirts has taken social media by storm, drawing widespread condemnation from netizens and authorities alike.
The footage, which quickly went viral, shows the driver doing stunts. This reckless behavior has alarmed the public, with many expressing their anger and concern over the potential danger posed to other commuters.
“This is not just irresponsible; it’s criminal. The driver is endangering lives,” commented one user on X.
Others have called for stricter enforcement of traffic laws and more rigorous monitoring of public transport vehicles to prevent such incidents in the future. “We need stricter traffic regulations and enforcement to ensure the safety of everyone on the road,” another user posted.
Speaking to Kashmir Observer, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Srinagar, Muzaffar Ahmad Shah assured the public that the police are actively working to identify the E-Rickshaw driver involved in the incident. “We are in the process of identifying the erring driver and action will be initiated against him,” SSP Shah stated.
