JAMMU– The Jammu & Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association on Monday announced that a Summer Kabaddi Coaching Camp for Boys will be conducted at two locations in Jammu and Kashmir. The camps will be held in collaboration with J&K Sports Council.
The Summer Kabaddi Coaching Camp will be conducted for 21 days from 22nd June to 13th July at Mendhar, Poonch in Jammu, and for Kashmir, at Bandipora, from 25th June to 16th July.
Per a press release, the eligibility criteria for age is under 23 years and weight must be below 80 kg. During the three weeks, the Summer Kabaddi Coaching Camp will provide free boarding and lodging, as well as food and refreshment.
Per the association, 70 players each from Jammu and Kashmir will also be shortlisted for the camp.
The camp shall be commence under the supervision of the General Secretary of the association and will be overseen by Mir Alam, National Medalist. Bashrat Khan, District President, will be the organising secretary.
