Doodpathri ‘Illegal’ Tea Vendors Asked To Vacate In 10 Days Or Face Action

Srinagar- The authorities have asked the owners of “illegal” tea vendros in Doodpathri tourist resort in central Kashmir’s Budgam district to vacate the space they have occupied within 10 days or face action.

The order has been issued by Doodpathri Development Authority, asking roadside tea vendors to vacated spaces they have occupied “illegally”.

She also said the unauthorised vendors are located under high-tension transmission lines, posing a risk to their lives and visitors as well.

Srinagar- The Jammu and Kashmir School Education Department has advised educational institutes to avoid assemblies in the afternoon to prevent heat related illnesses.

The department in a guideline to prevent heat-related illness (HRI) asked the schools to avoid assembling in the afternoon.

“Ensure adequate availability of drinking water and water breaks. Also sensitise students to cover their heads,” reads the guideline.

The department also directed the concerned to report any cases related to HRI, stating that education is not possible without care.
