AWANTIPORA– A student of Islamic University of Science and Technology won bronze in the recently concluded Inter-University Pencak Silat tournament.
The IUST Pencak Silat team, comprised of seven members, was led by Dr Hilal Ahmad as they participated in the All India Pencak Silat Inter-University Tournament 2024. The tourney was organised by Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar Punjab from 23rd to 27th January.
Mufti Ahmad Farooqi bagged bronze medal while other athletes from the university won their league bouts. Students had a great experience and got to interact with participants from other places.
