Srinagar- The grandfather of Syed Hamid Hussain, Online Editor of Kashmir Observer, passed away on Monday late evening.
Syed Noor-Ud-Din (90 yrs) passed away on Monday late evening at Bemina, after a brief spell of illness.
The deceased was an educationist par excellence and served the Department of Education with utmost dedication and honesty for over four decades.
The deceased was the father of Syed Bashir Ahmad, former Assistant General Manager, J&K Grameen Bank and father–in-law of Syed Shabir Ahmad, Headmaster, Govt. High School Bundgam, Budgam.
The Namaz e Janaza of the deceased will be held tomorrow at 10:30 A.M at his ancestral residence at Chattabugh Budgam.
Kashmir Observer staffers express solidarity with the bereaved family in this hour of grief and pray to Almighty Allah to grant the deceased the highest place in paradise.
