SRINAGAR– The J&K Junior Girls Cycle Polo team has embarked on a journey to Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, to participate in the 26th Junior National Cycle Polo Championship 2024. The championship, organised by the Cycle Polo Federation of India and Madhya Pradesh Cycle Polo Association, is scheduled from 20th to 22nd January 2024.
The talented team was selected through rigorous trials at Gindun Stadium, Raj Bagh, and team screening at Bakshi Stadium by J&K Sports Council. The Junior Girls Cycle Polo team comprises Bibi Toyeeba, Dar Iflah, Fiza Kounsar, Dar Jaziba, Tahoora, Sadaf Arif, Dar Irtiza and Nihana Nazir. The team is under the guidance of coach Vilayat Hussain and team manager Iqra Mushtaq, and they were ceremoniously flagged off by General Secretary Sheikh Zulfikar.
