SRINAGAR– A young athlete, Muskan Mehraj, hailing from Odura, Kulgam, has brought laurels to the region by securing a notable second-place in the Bagatur Federation Cup Sub-Junior event held in Delhi. Her exceptional performance in the tournament showcased her promising talent and dedication towards the sport.
As she won the medal, the victory celebration extended beyond the tournament grounds as Muskan’s achievement was warmly welcomed by her relatives, neighbors, and the local community.
Speaking to the news agency KNO, Muskan said, “I represented J&K in the recently held Championship in Bagatar Federation Cup Sub-Junior where I won a silver medal.”
“I am very happy with the achievements, and my message to others is stay healthy and stay away from drugs,” said Muskan.
“I have started playing martial arts from Class 9th and my family has been supporting me a lot in achieving the new heights in my career,” Muskan added.
“The youth here should participate in sports activities and register themselves in academies, institutions, from where they can go to district, inter district and other levels as well,” said Muskan, adding that “I am thankful to my coaches and everyone who helped in achieving this fest.” (KNO)
