SRINAGAR– The Jammu & Kashmir Football Association announced Wednesday it will hold a “Basic Referees Course” for aspiring individuals keen on becoming professional football referees. The course is scheduled for 9th and 10th December at the Synthetic Turf TRC here.
“This course marks a pivotal step towards fostering a stronger refereeing community. This initiative stands as a crucial change, empowering new referees and contributing to the positive development of football officiating standards in J&K,” the JKFA said in a statement.
“All interested candidates, are requested to kindly register their names with AHOR Muzaffar Ahmad by 7th of December, until 7 pm. You can reach him at his personal phone number: 7006761033.
“Eligibility Criteria: 1. Minimum qualifications: Matric pass. 2. Age: 18 to 35 years. 3. Physically fit.
“Additionally, for Level 6 and 7 Referees, there will be an upgradation session on the 10th of December,” the association said.
