ANANTNAG– Department of Youth Services and Sports District Anantnag-organised District Level Trekking Camp for Girls concluded on Monday and saw the female trekkers climb several famous hills in Pahalgam.
The trekking started from Baisaren to hill top, famous Golf course hills, Zoo park hills, where the trekkers participated in several adventurous activities under the guidance of field staff of YSS District Anantnag. Trekkers from different schools of District Anantnag participated in the event.
“While having the interactive cum feedback session on Final Camp Fire, the girl trekkers displayed unexpected cultural show and shared their views with positive responses. They also showed a lot of satisfaction over the arrangements and also desired their wish to be part of this in future also,” the department said in a press release.
