SRINAGAR- J&K Sports Council Football Academy lifted the Kashmir Youth Football Championship 2023 on Monday at Bakshi Stadium here. Two finals in boys and girls categories were played on Monday.
In the girls championship, Kashmir Arrows defeated KIC Budgam one goal to nil through penalty kick in the starting minutes of the match and maintained the lead till the end.
In the boys final, JKSC Football Academy defeated FC Ganderbal by a solitary goal scored by Numaan in the 28th min of the match through fantastic header assisted by captain Farhan’s wide free kick.
The winning team received a trophy with a cash prize of ₹75 thousand and awards of the match. JKSC Football Academy team is being trained by the renowned coaches Ishfaq Ahmad and Javed Sofi.
