SRINAGAR- J&K Senior Women’s Football team defeated Ladakh 1-0 in the 28th Senior Women’s National Football Championship 2023-24 at GNDU Stadium in Amritsar, Punjab.
Nadiya Nighat scored the winning goal in the 71st minute and was awarded man of the match.
“Our J&K Women’s Football Team secured a fantastic victory against Ladakh,” the J&K Football Association said in a statement.
“The team’s exceptional performance led to this thrilling win, and we’re proud of Nadiya Nighat for her Player of the Match award. Congratulations to the entire J&K Women’s Football Team for their remarkable efforts and dedication on the field! Let’s keep the momentum going,” it added.
