SRINAGAR- Real Kashmir FC are all set to take on TRAU FC in I-League 2023-24 season on Saturday, November 4, at Synthetic Turf TRC here.
Real Kashmir won their opening I-League fixture against Rajasthan United FC 2-0. The game was played at TRC, and the team, with six local players in the lineup, made full use of their 12th man: The crowd.
Real Kashmir coach Ishfaq Ahmed took charge of his first game for the Snow Leopards against RUFC, and will look to keep up their winning run.
“I’m happy with the fact that we took our chances well in the game against RUFC,” Ishfaq told AIFF. “I’m also very pleased that despite the relatively short pre-season, the team had a cohesive structure and looked like a unit. It has to become a trend going forward.”
TRAU are a formidable opponent, and are coming off a 1-1 draw with Delhi FC. Coach Ishfaq understands the challenge Real Kashmir face in TRAU.
“They had a great start against Delhi and have already experienced playing away from home,” Ishfaq told AIFF. “We have had a great start ourselves, and even kept a clean sheet so we go on a high. We cannot rest on that though, we have to be careful and have to fight hard for a good result.”
Real Kashmir vs. TRAU FC will be shown live on Eurosport. The game can be streamed live on Indian Football YouTube Channel and Fancode.
