SRINAGAR- Aiman scored two goals as Iqbal Sports FC beat Kashmir Panther FC in a 2023 Srinagar Premier League match on Friday at Bakshi Stadium here.
The lone Premier Division game saw plenty of excitement as both teams played competitive football while going for the win. Kashmir Panthers took the lead in the 20th minute as Arpan found the back of the net. Iqbal Sports equalised in the 38th minute with Aiman bringing his side back on equal footing. At half time, the scores read 1-1.
The second half saw Iqbal Sports take the lead for the first time in the game, as Shakir made it 2-1 in the 64th minute. Protecting a slender lead, Aiman scored Iqbal Sports’ third goal in the 90th minute. Kashmir Panthers got one back in added time through Arpan, but it only proved to be a consolation. Iqbal Sports FC secured a 3-2 win, with Aiman named man of the match.
