Srinagar- A man died while another sustained injuries on Monday when they were trapped under a sand mound in Langate area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
38-year-old Abdul Hamid Sheikh was killed while his colleague Shabir Ahmad was injured during a sand extraction operation in Shanoo village of Langate on Monday, reports said.
Ahmad, reports said, was shifted to the hospital for treatment after being rescued from the sand mound.
