Srinagar- A highway QRT vehicle met with an accident at Kurigam in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday, resulting in injuries to at least five police personnel..
News agency GNS quoting officials reported that the injured personnel were removed from the site and taken to Emergency Hospital Qazigund from where two personnel with critical injuries were referred to GMC Anantnag.
The injured personnel have been identified as Head Constable Mushtaq Ahmad, Constable Waseem Ahmad, Constable Murtaza Ahmad, Constable Amir Suhail and SPO Driver Sajad Ahmad.
Meanwhile, a police official confirming it said that they have taken cognisance of the incident
