Srinagar- Police on Tuesday attached residential house of an alleged notorious drug peddler in Wachi area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
The house of Azad Ahmad Ganaie of Wachi has been attached under the provisions of 68F of NDPS Act, a police spokesperson said. Ganaie, he said, was involved in case FIR No. 34/2021 US 08/15 NDPS Act of PS Zainapora and from whose possession a commercial quantity (144 kg 200 grams) of poppy straw was then recovered.
“The said person was also booked under PIT NDPS vide Div. Com. Order no. Div com- K/341/2022 dated 30/12/2022,” the spokesperson added.
