SRINAGAR- Two Round 17 matches of the 2023 Srinagar Premier League were played on Thursday at Synthetic Turf TRC here.
In the first game, FC1 took on Kashmir Panthers FC. FC1 was awarded a penalty in the 18th minute, which captain Asrar Rehbar calmly slotted home. Hammad added FC1’s second goal in the 50th minute. With FC1 looking set to take all three points, Kashmir Panthers decided to go all-in. The team was rewarded when Arpan found the net in the 89th minute. Umer then made it 2-2 in the 93rd minute of extra time, to give Kashmir Panthers FC a thrilling draw. Umer was awarded player of the match.
In the second game, Novelty FC locked horns with Jhelum FC. Novelty took an early lead after Flinto scored the opener in 3rd minute. Sahil made it 2-0 in the 5th minute. Flinto scored his second in the 44th minute as Novelty FC entered half time 3-0 up. Yasir made it 4-0 in the 61st minute, before Owais rounded out the score to give Novelty FC a 5-0 win against Jhelum FC.
