SRINAGAR- The district football team of Srinagar emerged victorious while defeating Budgam in the Inter District Provincial Level Football Tournament.
Hosted by District Youth Services and Sports Office Srinagar, the tournament was organised for Under 17 and 19 girls. Team Srinagar beat Budgam 6-0 in the Under-17 finals. Budgam made their best efforts but couldn’t score a single goal.
The Under-19 girls tournament is scheduled from October 13 at Bakshi Stadium, Srinagar.
In another event on Wednesday, all age groups participated in the Inter-School District Level Annual Athletic Meet for boys and girls at SP College Ground, Srinagar. Meanwhile, Inter District Provincial Level softball tournament is underway at Gindun Ground in Rajbagh, Srinagar, in which six districts of Kashmir province are participating.
