SRINAGAR: The 2023-24 season of the I-League will kick off on October 28 at Synthetic Turf TRC here. The All India Football Federation announced the fixtures list on Friday, with Real Kashmir FC taking on Rajasthan United FC in the opening matchup, which kicks off at 2 p.m.
The I-League, which is the second-tier of Indian football, below ISL, will have 13 teams competing to make it to the final stages. This season, Real Kashmir will face off against Sreenidi Deccan FC, Gokulam Kerala FC, Tiddim Road Athletic Union, Churchill Brothers, FC Goa, Aizawl FC, Mohammedan Sporting Club, Rajasthan United FC, Neroca FC, Shillong Lajong FC, Delhi FC, Inter Kashi and Punjab Namdhari Sports.
The Snow Leopards will play all their home games in Srinagar.
Real Kashmir will be led by former English player and manager, Gifton Noel-Williams. The team finished fifth in I-League last season.
RKFC played 22 matches in the 2022-23 season, winning 9, drawing 7 and losing 6. The team scored 27 goals and conceded 25.
