Srinagar- A man was killed on Friday in an attack by a black bear in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Mushtaq Ahmed of Kathawa Khanpura village was attacked and injured by a black bear near Bhendoga Nullah on Friday morning, reports said. Ahmed, who sustained serious injuries in the surprise beast attack, was removed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
However, before the doctors could start his treatment, Ahmed succumbed to grave injuries.
Meanwhile, the locals have appealed to the authorities to capture the wild bear so that no more human lives are lost due to such attacks by beasts.
