Srinagar- A student, who was injured by terrorists in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday, succumbed to his injuries at the SK institute of medical sciences (SKIMS) here on Thursday.
16-year-old Sahil Bashir Dar of Watrigam village, succumbed to his injuries on Thursday evening at SKIMS, where he was battling with life after being attacked by terrorists on Wednesday night, officials said.
A class 10th student, Dar had received a bullet in his neck in the terror attack.
“#Terrorists fired upon one person namely Sahil Bashir Dar son of Bashir Ah Dar resident of Wanihama in #Anantnag district. The injured person is being shifted to hospital for treatment. Area cordoned off. Further details shall follow,” Kashmir Zone Police had written on X on Wednesday.
