SRINAGAR- In the lone Srinagar Premier League 2023 matchup on Friday, Galaxy FC and Iqbal Sports FC played an entertaining 2-2 draw at Synthetic Turf TRC here.
After a cagey first half, the game sprung to life after Fahad gave Galaxy the lead in 40th minute. Iqbal Sports came flying in the second half as Faizan scored two quick-fire goals (48’, 50’) to give them a 2-1 lead. However, Galaxy FC upped the ante and got their reward in the 79th minute, with Arbab finding the back of the net to equalize. The game ended 2-2.
As per the fixtures list released by DFA Srinagar, Asrar Rehbar-led FC1 will take on Star Kashmir FC at TRC, with kick off at 6:00 pm.
