SRINAGAR- FC1 defeated Kashmir Avengers FC 4-0 in the lone game of the Srinagar Premier League 2023 on Monday at Synthetic Turf TRC here.
Former Bengaluru FC player and FC1 captain Asrar Rehbar scored a hat trick as the newly promoted side dominated the proceedings. Rehbar, who debuted for India national team earlier this year, opened the score through a penalty in the 26th minute. He then doubled the lead in the 40th, as FC1 entered the second half 2-0 up. Asrar scored his third goal in the 49th minute, before Hayat made it 4-0 in the 58th.
The victory means FC1 remain undefeated in the Premier Division after Round 15 fixtures.
Per the schedule released by DFA Srinagar, one match of the Srinagar Premier League will be played today, Tuesday, Sept. 26. In the 6:30 pm kick off, Ali Jana FC will take on Jhelum FC.
In the other set of matches, Kashmir Maharaja FC play JK United FC on Wednesday, while Novelty FC take on J&K Police FC on Thursday.
