Pulwama- Nehru Yuva Kendra Pulwama Celebrated Hindi Diwas on Thursday at Patalbagh Pampore.
Hindi Diwas is celebrated on September 14 every year to commemorate the adoption of Hindi as the official language of India by the Constituent Assembly of India on this day in 1949.
Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first prime minister of India, officially declared 14 September as the Hindi Diwas.
“The purpose of Hindi Day, which is being celebrated across the country on this day is to not impose this language on non-speaking states and people.”
“The importance of this day is just to promote the language in the non-speaking and also Hindi–speaking areas.”
