SRINAGAR- J&K Police FC took on Star Kashmir FC in the lone 2023 Srinagar Premier League matchup on Friday at Synthetic Turf TRC here.
The game proved to be a one-sided contest, as J&K Police had full control of the proceedings from the get-go. Gulshan gave J&K Police the lead in the 2nd minute, before Salman made it 2-0 in the 26th. The second half saw J&K Police make it 3-0 after Salman converted a 56th minute penalty.
Downtown Heroes FC currently leads the Srinagar Premier Division standings, having remained undefeated in the competition thus far. The team has played 11 matches and won 10 of them, raking in 31 points. No. 2 in the standings, Ali Jana FC, are also undefeated in the league, taking 30 points from their 12 games.
Asrar Rehbar-led FC1 is the third undefeated side in the Srinagar Premier League. The team has 24 points from 10 matches. JK Bank FC are 8-2 in their 10 games, while picking up 24 points.
