AWANTIPORA– The Alpine Club of the Islamic University of Science & Technology Awantipora, Kashmir, is embarking on a n expedition to Ladakh, which was flagged off by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Shakil Ahmad Romshoo on Wednesday.
The trip, organised by the Alpine Club IUST under the supervision of the Directorate of Physical Education & Sports, promises to be a learning experience, combining the thrill of outdoor adventure with the spirit of exploration and teamwork.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Shakil Ahmad Romshoo highlighted the significance of such experiences in fostering leadership skills, resilience and camaraderie.
IUST’s Alpine Club’s Ladakh engages in promoting adventure, physical fitness, and environmental awareness among students and regularly organizes various outdoor activities and expeditions throughout the year to provide students with opportunities for personal growth and exploration.
