Srinagar- An unidentified woman died on Friday after being hit by a train in the winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to reports, the 35-year-old woman was hit by a train in Bajalta area of Jammu on Friday. She sustained serious injuries in the accident.
The woman, reports said, succumbed to grave injuries before she could be taken to the hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, her body was shifted to the Government Medical College Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for post-mortem and identification.
The inquest proceedings have been initiated at the GRP Bajalta, an official told a local news agency Kashmir Scroll.
