Srinagar- Eight students were injured on Friday when a vehicle’s tyre burst in Nutnusa area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
The incident occurred when the students of Education Zone Sogam were waiting for transportation during a zone-level sports event at Nutnusa, a local news agency KNS reported. The sudden bursting of a vehicle’s tyre caused injuries to several students present at the site.
The injured students, including girls, reports said, were immediately rushed to GMC Hospital Handwara for prompt medical attention.
The report quoted Medical authorities at GMC Hospital Handwara as saying that all the injured students were currently under medical care and were stable.
