Srinagar- A teenager on Monday drowned while taking bath in Rangil in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
15-year-old Azmat Ahmad Wani, son of Bilal Ahmad Wani of Rangpora Illahibagh drowned in the Master Plan at Rangil, while he was taking a bath, reports said
After the incident, reports said, police were informed and an operation was launched to save the drowned teenager.
However, after hectic efforts, the boy was retrieved in an unconscious state and taken to a nearby hospital. The doctors there, referred him to SKIMS, Soura where he succumbed later.
