Srinagar- A university girl hailing from south Kashmir’s Pulwama district loses battle for life after prolonged illness at SMHS hospital here, sources said.
Sources said Sadaf Ayoub, resident from Lassipora Pulwama in South Kashmir, a university student, passed away here at SMHS hospital this evening.
They said that Sadaf was suffering from blood cancer.
It is pertinent to mention that her family had appealed for financial assistance for her treatment, video of which had gone viral on social media, if sources are to be believed she had received nearly one crore rupees in 24 hours after which her brother appealed to general public not to deposit anymore money.
However, the ill-fated girl, family sources said breathed her last at SMHS, this leaving her family in eternal shock.
