SRINAGAR- FC1 on Tuesday defeated STFC Natipora 2-0 to lift the 19th J&K Police Martyr’s Memorial Football Tournament at Synthetic Turf TRC here.
The Director General of J&K Police, Dilbag Singh, attended the closing ceremony and presented the winner’s trophy to FC1.
In the Women’s final, Kashmir Arrows FC triumphed over JK FC.
For the first time, the tournament had four Women’s teams and 42 teams from DFAs-ZFAs across J&K participating.
The tournament was organised by Jammu and Kashmir Police under its Civic Action Programme and in collaboration with J&K Football Association and J&K Sports Council.
The tournament started in 1998 in memory of Inspector Mushtaq Ahmad Baba.
