Srinagar- A youth slipped to death while extracting Bajri from a stream in South Kashmir Kulgam district on Saturday.
Imtiyaz Ahmad @totta of Tangmarg Kulgam was extracting bajri from Vaishaw nallah at Reshnagri check area of the district when he lost balance and slipped into the stream, reports said. Instantly, an operation was launched to rescue Ahmad from the stream. However, after hours of hectic efforts, his body was retrieved.
Meanwhile, police have initiated proceedings in this regard.
