Srinagar- Police on Thursday arrested a man on charges of trying to snatch a weapon from a policeman in South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
Quoting a senior police officer, a local news agency KNO reported that a person attempted to snatch a weapon from SOG personnel near the camp at Imamsahib on Thursday evening.
However, with the quick action, the officer said, the snatcher was arrested on the spot.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shopian confirmed the incident and said that a case is being registered to take up further investigation into the matter.
