Bandipora- A person lost his life and another was hospitalized with critical injuries in an unascertained nature of accident in Sumbal area of Bandipora, officials said.
Two persons riding on a scooty were found in an injured condition near Baharabad village this evening. “The duo was immediately evacuated from the site to CHC Sumbal where one among them succumbed to his injuries”, the official said adding the injured was referred to JVC Hospital Srinagar for advanced treatment.
The official identified the deceased as Danish Hussain Wani, son of Ghulam Hassan Wani, a resident of Singhpora Baramulla and the injured as Zahoor Ahmad Bhat, son of Ghulam Ahmad Bhat.
Confirming the death of one person and injuries to another, a police official said that they are investigating the nature of the accident. (GNS)
