JAMMU- A 19-member Judo team comprising eight boys, eight girls, two coaches and one manager left for the national championship scheduled to be held at IIS, Karnataka from 5th to 10th July, 2023.
The Judo team left for national championship in presence of Ashok Singh, Divisional Sports Officer, Suraj Bhan Singh, Manager, Vikas Gupta, Senior Vice-President and Suraj Sharma, General Secretary Judo Association Jammu and Kashmir.
Judokas selected for the national championship include Sumit Lal, Adnan Fayaz Bhat, Atul Sharma, Arihaant Mahajan, Vipul Yashovardhan, M Hadi, Mohsin Hamid Malla, Abdul Hannan Shagoo, Fiza Akhter, Manvi Devi, Adn Arshad, Nandini Chib, Zainab Binti Ajaz, Hidaya Shahid, Anshika Sharma and Tanvi Thakur.
Arshi Nad, Jugal Kishore and Manish Chatwal will accompany the team as Coaches and Manager respectively.
Vice-President J&K Judo Association Abdul Hamid Khan, Joint Secretary J&K Judo Association Gowher Khan, Shafkat Shafi NIS Senior Judo coach and other office bearers of the association congratulated all the players and coaches.
